I've been spending time at my brother's house in Oakley, Utah. My husband and I are watching the bird and the dog while he and his family are at Yellowstone. Yesterday afternoon we decided to drive into Park City and explore some of the Main Street shops and galleries. We saw some really beautiful work. I particularly liked some of the work in a gallery of Russian artists' paintings. There was this one of a side street and some stairs that go up the side of a building. There was just something inspiring about the way it was done. Maybe one of these days I'll have to take some time and bring a poetry notebook with me.

Sat down and drew something tonight for the first time in a while. I got an idea and just BOOM... had to draw it even if it was 1am. I have now drawn Gerard way as a chipmunk. It turned out more badass than it sounds. I may well draw in the rest of the band and post it tomorrow. I'm thrilled with it. Whee!
